Our
Story

Drs. Austin and Whitney (Wolfe) Johnson are thrilled to be moving back to Dr. Whitney's home state. Serving her community through dentistry has been her dream since high school, and now it has happened. Whitney is from Seymour, TN, and went to Heritage High School. She attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She obtained her bachelor's degree in mathematics while also competing and earning a scholarship on the Lady Vols Rowing team. Upon graduating college, Whitney became a coach for a local rowing club in Louisville, TN, for two years. She then attended the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis to earn her DDS degree - where she met her husband and best friend, Austin. It did not take much convincing Austin to settle down with her in East TN, as he fell in love with the area.

Austin was born in Abilene, TX. He spent his childhood in a military family; his dad served in the Airforce for 20 years. Constantly on the move, Austin has lived in Texas, Hawaii, Arkansas, and west Tennessee. He attended high school outside Little Rock, AR, where he excelled in playing varsity basketball. Austin earned an academic and basketball scholarship to Christian Brothers University in Memphis, where he earned his bachelor's degree in biology.

After that, he was commissioned with the Army upon entry into dental school. He has always been passionate about dentistry, especially the business aspect. It has been a dream of his to own and manage a dental practice in a small, close-knit community. Both he and Whitney hope to provide excellent care in a relaxed dental environment with the ultimate goal of building relationships within the community.

The couple lived in Saint Robert, MO, where Austin served as an active duty dentist at Fort Leonard Wood. They love sports, traveling, cooking together, and creating a comfortable home life. In January of 2022, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named June. They also have two cat children, Nova and Mags.

Austin and Whitney are ready and excited to move close to family and become immersed in their new community as a dental team. They look forward to serving their new patients.
